Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using the todos.md platform you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of service

todos.md is a headless task platform for AI agents. The service provides CLI, API, MCP gateway, billing, imports, and hosted runs for shared workspaces.

3. Accounts and authority

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate registration information and promptly update it if it changes. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform to violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the platform.
• Interfere with the platform's infrastructure or other users' access.
• Use automated means to scrape, crawl, or overload the API beyond your plan limits.
• Distribute malware, spam, or harmful content through task inputs, run outputs, or artifacts.
• Resell API access without written permission.

5. Intellectual property

The hosted platform, its code, design, and documentation are our intellectual property. The open source todos project remains governed by its own license. You retain ownership of your task data, inputs, and outputs. By using the service you grant us a limited license to process your data solely to deliver the service.

6. Paid plans

• Free tier — free forever up to 1,000 tasks and 10 projects with plans, CLI, and API access.
• Pro plan — $10 per month, billed monthly. Includes unlimited tasks, unlimited projects, team access, API keys, and hosted runs.
• Hosted runs — some automation may have usage limits or separate terms shown before use.
• Enterprise — custom pricing, invoiced separately under a signed agreement.

All fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with 30 days' notice.

7. Hosted workflow data

You retain ownership of your task data, workflow inputs, logs, and artifacts. You grant us permission to process that data only as needed to provide, secure, debug, and improve the hosted service.

8. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable notice. The platform is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, with notice where practical. On termination, your right to use the platform ends. Sections on intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and Romania. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Bucharest, Romania.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes take effect 30 days after we notify you by email or in-product notice. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
